The blend was created using a semi-fermented oolong from Taiwan known for a lively, full flavor with hints of berry jam and sweet floral undertones. After extensive profiling, the flavor of orange blossom was recreated using a mix of jasmine and dried orange pieces which is added to the tea. Rounding out the blend is a Ceylon black tea for some added depth.
50% or more of this tea comes from estates that are part of the Ethical Tea Partnership. The ETP is an initiative started within the tea industry to monitor and regulate living and working conditions on estates around the world.
